The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) reported that tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund reached $46.2 million during the first quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2026, marking a 5% increase over the same period in FY 2025.
Jackie Johnson, Director of the ADG, credited the growth to the ongoing partnership between the state and Arizona’s tribal gaming operators. “As we complete the first quarter of FY 2026, we’re proud to see continued steady growth in Arizona’s tribal gaming sector,” Johnson said. “This consistent progress reflects the strength of our cooperative regulatory framework with tribal partners. Together, we maintain the integrity of gaming in Arizona while ensuring that legal, regulated gaming continues to benefit our communities statewide.”
The Arizona Benefits Fund supports multiple public initiatives, including education, emergency services, wildlife conservation, and programs that address problem gambling. The sustained revenue from tribal gaming contributions continues to play a critical role in funding these essential services.
Industry observers note that the positive trajectory demonstrates the stability of Arizona’s tribal gaming market, which remains a cornerstone of the state’s broader economic and community development efforts.
